MassBespoke is a construction system for building superstructure, generated automatically and fabricated digitally to any required shape or size in a workshop near you

Cassettes

MassBespoke superstructure is made up of structural cassettes fabricated from engineered boards such as OSB or Plywood, assembled in factory conditions using a fool proof method that only allows them to be constructed the correct way.

Sustainable

MassBespoke is designed to achieve high standards of environmental performance, optimise use of materials, eliminate waste and remove the need for heavy transport and lifting at all stages of construction.

Easy Assembly

Cassettes are quick and simple to put together on site and are suitable for use as walls, floors and roof. They weigh <50kg each to be lifted into position by two people.

A team of two can take a day’s work (approximately a single storey) with them to site in a large van.

Service Zone

The cassettes incorporate a variable depth service zone. Building services can be coordinated in BIM so that cut-outs are be pre-formed.

We’re also working on printing schematics directly onto cassettes!

Cladding

Provisions are made in the cassettes to integrate fixtures for different types of cladding so that it can be coordinated once in BIM and not require setting out on site.

Let the system do the work

Every project is different, but don’t reinvent the wheel on a project by project basis By systematising the whole process, it is viable to offer affordable customisation with world class engineering and detailing even on small projects.

Engineer it well

A systematised process takes care of the day to day work so time and resource can be spent on product development normally only afforded by the largest of projects is made possible by aggregating many small ones. More akin to mass production, this is a paradigm shift in construction.

Fabricate it locally

Any fabricator with a computer controlled router can fabricate MassBespoke with consistent millimetre precision. Meaning there’s flexible global manufacturing capacity already available.
